Pacific Media Watch : ウィキペディア英語版 | Pacific Media Watch
Pacific Media Watch (PMW) is a daily independent Asia-Pacific media monitoring service published by the Pacific Media Centre (PMC) at Auckland University of Technology. It is digital repository gathered and published by staff and postgraduate students at the PMC and contributing journalists. The monitoring and research project began at AUT in 2007. In 2010 it was given a grant by the Department of Internal Affairs (New Zealand) Pacific Development and Conservation Trust to "expand its educational and research role for the Pacific region". Originally launched in Sydney in October 1996, Pacific Media Watch was the Pacific's first regional media website. It has links with the Journalism Programme at the University of the South Pacific, Journalism Studies at the University of PNG (UPNG) and the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism (ACIJ). PMW established is first archive on the Pactok server and also set up a D-Space archive, which was added to by the current database in December 2010. Pacific Media Watch has been featured on the Panos London Media Development. Representatives of Pacific Media Watch report on the region's news developments, provide advocacy for media freedom, and published the first major media freedom report in the South Pacific in 2011. ==References==
